Optimus 3 Production Start Expected Summer 2026, High-Volume by Summer 2027

Elon Musk stated that production of Optimus 3 will begin in summer 2026 at very low volumes following a classic S-curve ramp, with high-volume production rates expected around summer 2027. Initial manufacturing will be at Tesla's Fremont Factory, which is designed to reach up to 1 million units per year. On-site staff at AWE 2026 in Shanghai also indicated mass production could begin by end of 2026.
