Urban Flash Flood Forecasting Model (24-Hour Advance) Shipped in Google Flood Hub and Google Earth AI Geospatial Family

Google shipped a new urban flash flood forecasting model capable of predicting events up to 24 hours in advance, now live in Google's Flood Hub alongside existing riverine flood forecasts covering 2 billion people. The model and accompanying Groundsource dataset have also joined the Google Earth AI family of geospatial models, expanding the platform's disaster resilience capabilities.
