Gemini in Chrome Expands to India, New Zealand, and Canada with 50+ New Languages

Google has rolled out Gemini in Chrome — including tab-based AI chat, web summarization, and cross-app integrations with Gmail, Maps, Calendar, and YouTube — to users in India, New Zealand, and Canada on desktop and iOS, built on Gemini 3.1. The rollout is accompanied by support for more than 50 new languages including Hindi, French, and Spanish, significantly broadening the addressable user base beyond English-speaking markets.
